In-home Training: Why this might be the best answer for you and your dog
There are many advantages to in-home training. The approach is not just personalized to the individual people and dog(s) but includes the household environment as the literal training ground. If this is where you see the behaviors you want to change the most then in-home training is a great option to consider. All of our programs include a “Train the Owner” aspect but there’s an extra emphasis on that here.

Train the Owner
If you’ve already been to group classes, or spent big money on a board and train program, and especially if you are new to dog ownership, sometimes the one who needs training the most is the HUMAN. These one-on-one sessions focus on teaching the humans how to effectively communicate with their dog, to become the trainers, and to personally reap the rewards of success. The timeline of our private, in-home programs is progress-based; meaning you will never be presented with new material until you are ready for it.
Day Training
Busy schedules can challenge an owner’s ability to fit in daily training with their dogs. A professional trainer can teach a dog skills in less time than an owner who is just learning this new way of life with their dog. Day Training is the perfect way to boost your dog’s training, benefitting from the best of both worlds. We train your dog in your home while you tend to that busy schedule and then catch you up on your dog’s new skills with weekly follow-up lessons. The duration of the Day Training program will depend on the objectives you set forth in out initial consultation.
